You can best find out a rabbit’s mood through their body language. However, it is very difficult for an untrained eye, because they are even more subtle than dogs, for example. In addition, they also communicate through sounds. A rabbit that warns of approaching danger taps its hind legs. A rabbit lying flat on the ground with its ears laid back is afraid. A happy rabbit points its ears forward and lies in a relaxed position.
